Serve

We are disciples of Jesus, so we do what he did. And he sacrificed his life out of love for us. His selfless service not only saves us, but also gives us the pattern for our lives. As disciples of Jesus we give our lives away for others. That is the only way to really live.

We hope every member of First Lutheran will grow in service in every part of their lives. To build this habit, our church community has formed a few long-term, key partnerships with organizations outside of our walls. The ministries on the back of this brochure are meant to mobilize us for Christ-like service in the world.

Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for one another. 1 John 3:16
